Kilmarnock Sub-Aqua Club is a branch of the Scottish Sub-Aqua Club (ScotSAC), the governing body for the sport of diving in Scotland. To join the club you must also become a member of the Scottish Sub-Aqua Club.

How to Join

1: How to join Kilmarnock sub-aqua club

Come along to the branch on our Monday night sessions and have a chat with the Branch Diving Officer (BDO) or one of our experienced instructors.

There we can answer any questions you may have about starting to dive with ScotSAC, from arranging a try dive to advice on medicals and the ScotSAC training program.

2: Join ScotSAC

In order to be a member of a ScotSAC Branch, you must also hold a membership of the Scottish Sub-Aqua Club (ScotSAC) and vice versa.

You can join ScotSac online through the ScotSac website. Further benefits are that you now have the insurance to cover training or diving.

3: Start Diving

Once we have received your KSAC and ScotSAC memberships, you’re good to go.

If you’re training with us, we can start or continue your training, or if you’re already qualified you can join in our dive trips.

Please note: If you are joining as a trainee, you may be placed on our waiting list, depending on how busy we are. Don’t worry though – we won’t ask you to pay your membership fees until a place is available. You should also hold off paying your ScotSac membership until we confirm we are able to offer you a place.

Please note: If you are joining Kilmarnock Sub-aqua club as a trainee, we require the first two years membership to to paid up front (with no membership fees taken on year 2). This does not apply to divers who already hold a diving qualification.
